Initially, former Miss South India Mythili was interrogated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) who revealed that it was actress Mythili who introduced her to Fayaz. Mythili, on her part, said that she knows Fayaz, but only as a friend. "There are so many in our circle of friends. That doesn't mean that we are part of whatever illegal activities they are involved in," she said. It was also reported that the CBI has sent a notice to Mythili, demanding that she appear for questioning along with Shravya.However, Mythili says that she hasn't received any notice or call regarding the matter from anyone.
