Abhirami is an South Indian actress. Her real name is Divya. She acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. Her height helped her in starting her career as a TV anchor for the program Top Ten aired on Asianet Channel. She is a versatile singer also. She acted in a small role in a Malayalam film Pathram in 1999. Later she acted in hit films like Millennium Stars, Njangal Santhushtaraanu, Sraddha etc. She acted opposite top actors in Malayalam film industry including Superstar Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram etc. Later she shifted to Kollywood starring in films like Middle Class Madhavan, Samudhiram etc. She acted opposite Prabhu, Sharath Kumar, Arjun etc in Tamil. Her first Tamil film was Vanavil opposite Arjun.The biggest film of her career is Virumaandi opposite Acting Legend Kamal Hassan.
